in any firm which type of firm shall i  join

a fim which has clients of various type of industries and doing internal audit, statutory audit, concurrent audit and must be giving taxation work at least for last 6 months of articleship.

it all depends upon wheather u want to do practice or work in an industry.if u want to practice then u need all kind of exposure 

you should change the firm

ideally u should join a medium sized firm which has various kinds of clients.

Ideally i would not suggest yu to join !!!

well i will suggest u to continue for a while, get some experience here then go for a firm where u can get much of taxation work. Because in any case u have to take transfer. Its better to get some experience first.

In our profession you should make diff field experince, then you will get good knowledge and very much scope..Its better you to work there for 6 months then you decide to change..If you have all kinds of clients when you will pratcie then what you will do, you do same what your doing now..so think it..our profession needs lots of exposure to gain and be knwon in all fields...my suggestions is continue and later you change..all the best

DT) helps to gain a practical knowledge of the corporate world as well as u get  first hand experience on how to tackle people of hostile mentalities..... school audits i feel are really boring work..... audit of societies & hospitals will get boring as they dont often spring surprises like company audit & tax hearings
