i have enrolled for ca final accounts from eten ca in girish park (kolkata) now i want a transfer to a recently opened centre which is closer to my home but they are not allowing the transfer what should i do???
they are even not making refund of fees
in the form its written that tranfers are allowed but now they are not doing it,,
plzzz help me.........!!!
they seek only their commercial interest and do not care about the problems students face!!
U GO FOR THE HELP OF THE POLICE...... IF UR SURE THAT THE FORM ALLOWS U TO SHIFT OVER TO ANOTHER PLACE U CAN GO UP THERE AND ASK FOR A REFUND.....
U cn apply for refund of your fees, if there is a clause at the application form. Moreever u hv the right to know why they nt refund the money or transfer to other centres. For this A written application may be forwarded to concerned centre.

well refund is not allowed and it is stated in the form but then they should allow transfer or else refund the fees....the tution gets over at 9.30-10 pm!!!

U cn get the contact number of senior personnel from the concerned centre. You cn force them to allow transfer by contacting with senior personnel.
I hv no idea abt the centre. Sorry for that.

a toll-free-no. which is not transferred to senior and an email address thats all what they provide, i tried both and i doubt if that is of any help..
MAKE THEM CLEAR.......IF THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH THIER T&C.........U WILL GOING TO SUE THEM.....

how can icai help me with all this i have a problem relating to eten ca coaching centre!!
They are unlikely to refund the fees, as they make you sign on that form.
But I am surprised that they aren't letting you get a transfer. You might try going to the newly opened center and telling them your problem.
well they say only the centre where i am registered can help me with this but they are not willing to . And not only me many students are facing the same problem

The legal position is clear. If u hve given the fees but not yet attended the coaching center. then u have all rights within the law to demand the refund of the fees. By no clause in any agreement, can any such coaching center procure not to refund the fees in case u do not attend classes. They r giving services. If u paid the money but didn't yet availed it, u can ask for the full amount except any minor registration fee which they can deduct. Various courts accross the country have ruled that if the consumer don't avail of the service after paying the money in advance, it is within his rights to get the refund back the money.
Jst have one chat with any senior personnel and intimate him that if they will not refund the money, U will going to the consumer court. I m sure they will going to react on this. !!!!!!!!!!!!
