i have to file return 4 the last three years...is it possible to file return...if yes thn hw must penalty i hav to pay.....i hv alredy paid my tax of all the three years...but now i have to tak refund fm IT dept...wil IT dept wil create problem to refund my excess tax....plz explain me in detail...

u can file your return for a.y. 2008-09 and 2009-10 easily...ders no prob in it...
as far as returns before that are concerned, you woukd have to take a predated stamp from the clerk by " some or the other means "...
u cant file electronically...so physical is the only option..
n as far as refund is concerned...i agree with saurabh...
10% is the standard rate..bt since you have refund of 3-4 yrs all together, you r in a better position to bargain for 7-8 %....
