Hi Anjana..PAN no. remains same whatever is the income of assessee.

Thanks

Sandeep Sir,

Today I went to Department He said that Since his Income Exceeded Rs20 lakhs he will have to migrate his PAN .And the concerned person is not authorised to pass refund order as income is above 20 lakhs.

In this case case will be transerred to AO having authority to deal with cases exceeding 20 lacs income.

Sandeep Sir,

Actually the case is of TDS refund .I Didn't understood What Department Person Said Regarding PAN migration If possible Can You Just Explain Me About It plz plz

Anjana...in case of Refund, upto a certain level an AO can clear after that case is migrated / transferred to the upper AO by income tax department only.

So you need to check with your AO what he actually wants...becasue its a automatic procedure at IT department's end.

Thanks

Sandeep Sir,

He said to write a letter to ACIT regarding Trf of PAN.

Logically it should be transferred automatically by IT dept.

However, if AO is saying so, you can write a letter to ACIT mentioning the facts and requesting to transfer the case.

Other Expert here may give more clarification.

Thanks

AO  as per the PAN  data and  the officer  cornerned is  different , you  can see the AO  as per your pan data

if  the data shown and the officer concerned is same  then the file would  get auto transfered to ACIT,

if the AO is different then you have to rectify your  PAN  data  then write to  both  AO  divisions to  transfer the file

chek your AO here https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/KnowYourJurisdiction.H T M L

Sharma Sir,

AO as per Know your Jurisdiction is showing 35(1)(3)

and I have met that person Only Today

They might told to transfer your PAN from Ward 35(1)(3) to Circle 35(1)(3) because income exceeds 20 lakh.

This process will not be done automatically from dept end we have to write letter to them request them to transfer.

Please confirm is it the same case, if yes please do so.

Dear,

Subject: Completion of PAN Migration activity as per the new jurisdiction orders post restructuring  -reg

After the new jurisdiction orders have been passed by you/ your officers’ subsequent to restructuring, the PAN requires to be migrated to the new Ward/ circle as per the new jurisdiction. It appears that this activity has not been completed by some of the field officers. This is causing inconvenience to a large number of taxpayers.  The Chairperson CBDT has desired that this activity of migrating PANs must be completed  by 25th April, 2015 so  that  the taxpayers  are  aware  of their jurisdiction  and grievances  do  not  arise This  is also  a  priority area  as the tax  payer  need  latest jurisdiction for filing of Return of Income.

Furthermore, I request you to provide the new jurisdiction of all ranges, circles and wards of your Region, on the National Website (www.incometaxindia.gov.in) pages pertaining to your Region, to enable the taxpayers to have easy access to this information.  A new button on “Jurisdiction” shall be created on your Regional page on the National Website by 30th April. You are requested to have the jurisdiction document uploaded on the website by 05th May, 2015. As you may know, the training to all Regions’ nominated officers to upload and update the regional pages of the website has been imparted by the Directorate of Systems in December, 2014. The user name and password for uploading documents on your Regional pages has already been provided to your officers by the DiT(S)-4 team in January 2015. However, for facilitating this activity, DIT(S)-4 shall be circulating a common format and a step-by-step guide for your convenience.

This may be given top priority.

Yours

Nishi Singh

you  can  check the AY of refund claimed, and if needed , can write  to ACIT  for speedy transfer.
