i am c.a final student.....i m very confused...just tell me what is the difference between icai books,refrence books,taking coaching and coaching notes.whats d difference between accounts parveen sharma,rm jha,parveen jindal....and other faculties too of other subjects like aadtiya jain/ashish kalra/rajesh makkar....whats d differnce....plz dont post self study v./s coachings topic given by ankur sir,as i m nt satisfied...plz tell me....which one to choose,which is best (cai books,refrence books,taking coaching and coaching notes)?

Another thing do icai prepare all syllabus on its own or do they copy from somewhere?what do people think icai books are made for scrap....

Not at all scrap. Yes ICAI MODULES don't have better presentation then any other private author books but do remember in any condition these are the basis for forming question papers.

Its better if you at least consider Suggested Answers with other books for prepartion.

Yes. You are right. ICAI's study material is not bad. Even 75% questions in the exam papers come from the study module and other inputs provided by the Institute. But the main problem is that it become to lengthy and u know presentation style is also not gud. Language is also not easy to understand.
