If I am CA of 2 firms as a partner of 1 firm do 20 audits and another firm as a partner that firm do 20 audits?Is that I am eligible for 40 audit per person/partner of 2 firms??or combine 2 firms Max 20 audit per person/partner I.e.if 1 firm do 14 audit in 2 firm can do 6audit only ???
Audit is restricted to 20 audit. Also as per the guidance note of ICAI one cannot hold more than 20 audits other than the audit of OPC, small comapany and private company having a share capital of less than 100 crores.
