the study material is more than sufficient evn 2 get in2 merit. u may refer d book by sultanchand publications 2clear ur concepts in maths

Understanding the concept is very much important... following a few reference book  is good but different authors follow different method to solve same problem.... so my view is that u follow study material very keenly and microscopic study will help u to get a rank.....all the best...

NO other book is requitred for CPt , Just understand the concepts well ..... try to attempt as maximum questions as u can ... revise atleast three times before exams ..... Be confident , give your 100% and do execute welll ... All d Best .... Also solve scanner and past papers to take grip

As sch, CPT does not ask u to explain the solution... The core thing is to attain any question correctly and submitting true answer....

So, as suggested above, the important thing is to clear every concept in deep, the practice makes man perfect but in CPT its the clearence of topics.... Better to start acting smartly, not to waste more in practicing but on studying...

Moreover, the ICAI material as such more than sufficient, don't worry..

study materials are enuf..

in the end cracking CPT is what matters, make sure you complete the insti's study meterial 1st and then if u get time, follow other books only if u feel necessary !

I am agree with your views Gopal, it is more important to clear the concept of problems in mind. it is very necessary.
