plz advice for fast track reference for final

Hi Laxmi,

Do not think that you have only 2 attempts otherwise it will create unnecessary pressure on you and adversely affect your preperation. Simply follow your own plan. However reference from study material  and scanner is very important.

As per my suggestion also practice the questions given in the study material provided by ICAI. However if you are taking professional coaching then you may avoid study material questions as normally notes provided in private coaching includes study material questions.

Focus on conceptual study in the Cost Accounting and MICS. Strictly follow your plan as introduction of new things at this point of time may be harmful.

One more thing in practical paper also prepare theory part properly. Try and prepare your theory notes yourself including the answers of frequently asked questions. Here you may take the help of ICAI suggested answers.

Just be confident and rock the exam.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions...Please advice If i just read Munish bhadari..text book...& more rely on Munish bhandari handbook can I get 50+..be'uase..iam so upset for my past results...just 25 , 28 ....that was the marks...

Your planning is quite fine. I think you need some suggestion to improve your performance in law paper (25-30 marks).

First figure out the imp topics from scanner. Focus on relevant course content and strike off the irrelevant portion.

According to the most effective and long term success technique to perform well in law is:

Strategy/technique to prepare Section in Company Law:

1. First read the Section from Bare Act as bare act contain the pure law passed by legislature.

2. Then read the same section from your law book (Munish Bhandari).

3. Now it is the turn of your coaching notes. Read them thoroughly.

4. Now read all the previous exam problems based on that particular section from book.

If you follow the above 4 points carefully and honestly then you may consider your section finished for life.

Also follow the ATLAS method discussed earlier. Also focus on law interpretations especially for the chapters of directors. For this observe the solution of previously asked exam questions from Bhandari book. Understanding of section is very important.

25-30 marks are very low indeed. Also workout on your theory presentation. Good presentation in theory paper is very imp for CA exams.

Don’t play with the language of law specially Definitions. It is strongly recommended to put the definition in the exact language. However you can take slight liberty while drafting your answer in respect of other law language but the context, texture, interpretation and meaning should not be changed.

By good presentation of throey and practical question in law paper you can really fetch some extra marks. Kindly refer ICAI suggested answers to know how to present or answer practical question in law paper.

A slight change in "study pattern" will give you more confidence during the preparation :

1. Plan your daily studies with breaks. It will increase your memory.

2. Whatever you read; should be revised immediately after you take a break.

3. Before one hour of the end of the day-study; revise all the topics covered on the day- without fail.

4. Revise the topic with closed eyes. It will give rest to your eyes also.

5. Use some mnemonic techniques. The best one is to link the points with some "unique ideas." (Here unique idea means imagine in such a way which you never forget e.g. a scene of accident)

6.At the end of the week i.e. on Sunday; donot take new chapters - revise only what you read in previous six days.

7. Mark the typical questions/points so that you can refer them on examination days.(Specially you have very less time for exam preparation).
