I had started my articleship in February 2007 and I completed my 2 yrs 5 months till 30^th June 2009. From 1^st July 2009 I was discontinued my articleship because I am having some personal problem at my home. So I want to know is there any provision to take a break from the articleship. If yes, what is the period?

I have never heard about "break" from articleship. Either you can transfer or terminate your articlehsip. Thus the months of your absence can be treated as leave if you continue under same principal and if you get transfer then these 3 months won't be counted in your training period. However if you are able to convince your CA, he may not show you on leave and can mark your attendance during these months.

hey.. i have a got a kind of problem i e i cant be working in my office coz there is inmense mental harresssement n its not feasible to work in such environment. i have spoken to my boss regarding he is giving me a dummy for rest of my articleship span but he is doesnt agree to the fact n for the same reason i have stopped going to my office. n even i havent been paid my stipend since long time like for 3 mnths. i want a transfer or a termination so i want to know wat r the ground for termination as in can i resume my work after i terminate from my existing principal n then get myself registered elsewhere. n is ther any grounds for me to take transfer coz my principal keeps on saying that he will refer it to institute. guys u gotto help me out..
