we want to start goat selling and farming business, for that would I require to obtain GST registration?
* I know gst is necessary if interstate transaction take place.
* GST on selling goat is Nil
* but interstate transaction involve , should I have to take gst registration for e way bill & of course for police checking you know what I mean.

As per Section 23(1)(a) , Person is not liable to obtain Registration if he is exclusively in business of Supply of Exempted Goods or Services .
Even though you are selling Interstate ,but if supplying Exempted goods , No need to take Registration.

The Defination of Exempt Supply as per Section 2(47) of CGST Act : means supply of goods or services or both which attracts NIL Rate Tax or which may wholly exempt from tax u/s 11.
Hence the exempt supply includes Nil rate tax
