Please suggest me that from where i should do auditing of CA- final? Im confused that which book i should follow? Im not intending to take any coaching of audit! My attempt is due in May-08!!!

I would strongly suggest G.Sekar from Padhuka publication... i hve read it & it is really comprehensive...:))

hi... sorry im frm pcc only.. i dont hav dat much knowledge to insist u....but stil suggesting u to go wit chapters material first.. den follow any other author... dis suggestion was given to me by my seniors... n i rhink it was d best... thank u.. al d best..

I will like to suggest you "Vinod K Agarwal" it's a simple to understand book on Auditing. Trust me, I refered that book, telling from my personal experience. I just cleared my CA Final in May 2007 ( First attempt ).

Ruchika I will suggest you to gothrough the modules of the Institute, because i think that it is the best book to read and is written with the practical approach. As my attempt is also due in May 2008 and going through with the module only.

In my opinion, study material provided by the institute is sufficient enough for preparation of exam. However, in addition you can take help of Suggested Answers. Revising the study material two or three times will prepare you better. If you want to study thru book, you can try Advanced Auditing by Mr. Kamal Gupta

A thorough reading of study material, suggested answers for the last 5+ years, and AAS should be enough to score well in the exams. If you want to dig deeper into the subject, Advanced Auditing by Mr. Kamal Gupta is amongst the most sought after books that can be referred to.
