just substitute both the points in the eqn and see which equation satisfies only the last line passes through the first point and the eqn also satisfies second point(passes through it) (1+2*(-1)+1=0 and 3+2*(-2)+1=0) hence d is the answer this is much easier to do than writing the formula for two points
