hi,everybody,i have a doubt and please clarify it or do give me a
solution to my problem,my attempt for final exam is in may 2009,but due
to some reasons(health)i was forced to take termination in my curent
firm and switch to another firm,in this i lost some 20 days in
switching and hence my articles period will be completed only by 1 year
11 months and 18 days and i am falling short of 12 to 15 days for 2
years of article completion to be eligible to writr the exams in may
2009,i don't want to wate the attempt and want to write it in may
only,what shall i do.i didnot do back date registration as such as risk
was involved and my auditor didnot agree for back date.i can submit
medical proofs for not taking the franklin stamp as i was in
hospital,whether is there any way out not to loose the attemp,whether
institute will be very strict regarding those 15 days?plz reply it is
urgent.

As per my opinion you eligible for may-09
examination b-cose toatl period of artocleship incuding leave is required for final exam is may be 2 year.
you wont be allowed for may 09 if you had taken a break in your articleship. i.e. during the leave period if you were not registered anywhere your attempt would be lost. so the better option would be. speak to your principal tell him to register you back dated and take the entire period as leave and then you work for additional 20 days after the articleship which is allowed as per the institutes rule. since leave is counted in the period of articleship but not break in articleship. if any further doubts do revert ok
Hey dude...there's a way-out....
What you have to do now is to ask your current principal to re-register you with back-date but for that,u'll need a stamp paper of rs.100 of the date on which you took transfer or even before that will do(note that the date on the stamp paper will be counted as ur commencement date even ifyou mention a date earlier then the stamp paper date)....and get registered
Or the only other option left is if ur c.a. is not ready to register u wid back-date is search for sumone who's known to you and wher you can register yourself with back-date....but that too will be possible if you can provide the insti. with new back-dated registeration doc. within 30 days of your transfer...
Maybe you can also try to plead to insti....but i think it would help....but even if u decide to do it....just go to some higher authority person of insti....otherwise you will only be wasting ur time in the insti.'s office...

Date of stamp paper is not relevant generally.
Only your principal should agree to register you from back date. And that would not be a problem if you tell him to compensate for the period later, after your exams.

thank you for the reply,but i have sent the form to institute without any back date registration as i didnot want to wate any more time,will that 12 to a5 days matter a lot or institute will be linient towards my case if i disclose my problem to them?plz reply and do enquire with your friends or seniors and do mail me,thank you.
