would you please tel me the difference between internal audit and concurrent audit.

can a concurent auditor become the tax auditor of the same firm

Internal audit is carried out for a company Whereas concurrent audits are mainly for Banks. The basic nature of audit remains same but the area of audit differs widely.

it is not only for banks . concurrent audit is also done in forex.

CAN A CONCURRENT AUDITOR DO TAX AUDIT OF THE SAME FIRM.

Now the rule is Concurrent auditor not eligible for Tax Auditor for the same co.
