I cleared my ca PEE II in nov 2004.I have completed my 3 yrs of articles also.I wrote my final exams(old syllabus) 3 times but did not get thru.Now under old syllabus i have only two more attempts may and nov2009.But due to serious family circumstances i will not be able to write these both exams.So am planning to appear in 2010.

Now can somebody tell me as to how should i switch to new syllabus.my number of attempts eligibility(5) is getting over this november 2009.

should i re-register myself and again get my eligibility certificate?

Please help me out with the procedures.

Thats gr8 your doing final, you can go to near icai and just cconvert to new scehme if you cant take old syllabus.. you will get form for convertion from old syllabus to new scheme from icai by paying some fees..just check out with icai..

For conversion u have to submit an application with the institute and a DD of Rs1100 in the name of secretary icai and other details like true copy of regd. letter for old syllabus issued by the instt

There is no need for getting EC to appear for new course.
