Hiii Friends, I cleared my CA Final Group 1 in November 2014 and then i got exemption in IDT in May 2015. However my Group 2 three subjects are still pending. My Age is 25 years. my articleship was completed in July 2014. And after July 2014 i have not joined any firm or industry as employee. so now i am planning to do job and finish group 2 three subjects simultaneously , however some are saying that rather i should wait for 3 months i.e till exam and study for 3 subjects since i got very less marks in isca i.e just 15 marks and suggesting me to join some coaching. however i think that i should now join somewhere as there is a huge gap as unemployed i.e from july 2014 till now. so i think i can do studies daily after office and planning to take leave for 10 - 15 days before exams for group 2 three subjects. Please Help and guide me whether i can do job and studies together and go for exam by taking leave of 10 days. i am very confused.

Suggest you to focus on three subject specially ISCA as after you clear the exam no one will ask you what you have done as I known you are clever to understand the value of degree and it is matter of 3month

Yes.better you focus fully on exam in these 3 months and join in job after exams.

Hello Vicky,

I can truely understand how difficult situation it is to be so close yet so far...

You have an exemption in IDT, one of the subject apart from DT which has so many amendments & case studies, please keep in mind that en exemption can only be carried forward for 3 attempts...so it is very important not to lose the advantage...

In my personal opinion , you should not join any company or firm because you already have just 3 months left and within 2 months you will ask for study leave which will not give so good impression...I donot know about your financial obligations & responsibilites but I would suggest to give your heart , blood and everything in these few months...donot think about anything else other than studies...also donot take so much load about the age factor,once the study chapter is over you can start afresh with fresh enthusiasm...

Important point emphasized by Vikash. This is your last chance for claiming exemption and as you are left with only three papers, all your energy and focus should be only to complete your CA at the earliest, hopefully this attempt itself. Don't stress your mind with other lesser important issues like age etc. Give your best in the remaining time at your disposal, post examination think of joining for a job. All the best.
