Please guide

hello, i have given my cpt exam on december 2011. And i have qualified this with 122 marks. Now i want to register for ipcc but i have not received my cpt marksheet yet. That s why i have dowloaded the same from the site. And i have submitted my ipcc registration form with my downloaded cpt marksheet. Now my query is , after getting my original cpt marksheet what would i do.. Please guide me.

(i am not the right person to advise u but still i am expressing my opinions)... There are 3 choices for you..

 

 

1. My opinion is that now that your articleship is over sit in home & concentrate on studies for next 1 yr... Suppose if u don't clear this attempt, make sure that u clear PCC in May 12. Immediately after May 12 start studying for Final.. Since you will be in home for full time if u concentrate fully you can finish final in Nov itself

2. Financially if you are not comfortable and is in need of a job means then go for employment after completing PCC in May 12. Once you clear PCC you can get better employment opportunities.. I have seen some small CA firms giving 10K pm if you have B Com degree & CA  PCC & also have completed articleship

3. If in the current CA firm they are giving you proper study leave, hike & everything you can continue there

 

Going for employment in some companies or pvt concern is not advisable because many don't give leave even for exams...

Ya you will still have good prospect if you clear final in one single attempt.. also prospects in the long run depends on your ability & capability and not in the no of attempts u took to clear CA... Many cleared CA after n no of attempts are successful as a practicing CA.....

Dear Ganesh, Financially i am not bad.There is no urgency to earn immediately.i have always cheerished to be a pert of corporate industry.i can sit home and complete the course as you siad but then i am afraid only of my attempts and age will it hold good at an interview ?

practising is not my forte.industry is where i want to end up .....

then u have to seriously focus on your studies. because companies that come for campus expect us to pass CA atleast by third attempt (two or one is better).. U have already took some attempts for Inter. But still all things can be made good if u pass final in one single attempt...

 

For final u need 4 months devoted studies @ 6hrs per day...  Now that u r not confident about your PCC results start studying from today.. U still have 3 months for exams which i think is easily enough for 1 group... Study hard & clear PCC in may attempt.... Also  after writing May exams immediately start studying for final.. If you start studying final in May mid, u can finish the entire final course by September end provided u devote 6 hrs a day... and revise what you have studied  for full October.. also write some mock tests and check your ability.. One advantage in Final compared to PCC is that syllabus is less .. But there are more papers & u will also be tested more.. so u need to have conceptual understanding of each & everything ... But if u pass this attempt itself then its well and good  because u can prepare for final leisurely

 

Since you are financially not bad, my opinion is to sit in home & to prepare for exams..
