Hi all
I have given my ca final exam in november 2010 and waiting for the results now. Also i m due to give my cs final in June 2011.
I just heard about SAP and I have no info about it. Can anybody guide me? As to what it is about and wot can i take up which can help my career?
I also want to know about the sap course offered by icai...

advise u not to take up any sap course.. i am not very sure but my frenz have told me,.. it is too costly also.. there are many courses offered by icai after qualification, that may be useful..
Hey if you want to make career in SAP it good in valued too.
my senior after qualifieng in 3rd attempt hired as SAP consultant in Accenture Blore for Rs. 8.25 lacs.
If you are qualilfied CA, and You want to go fully in SAP field then you need not to make additional cousres outsidet, Co,s will hire you for SAP implementation, They train you regarding SAP and you can get handfull bucks.

Well, Let me tell you about hisjob role
he is in Accenture k.. it is outsourcing or consulting MNC. It trains CA,s in SAP and undertakes SAP implimentaion (ERP) projects of different Companies around the globe.. Copanies like Shell, Genpact, E&Y KPO aslo undertakes such projects.
ok..... so it wil involve working with the software or something??
then y CAs are reqd for that?
ya it invovles software..
and aslo invovles technical professionals. CA.s role in SAP mainly of Controlling aAccounting and Finance transactions, Reporting , Consolidations in SAP envoirnement...

Hey hi, everyone.... I am presently getting trained for SAP FICO
SAP is like a one stop solution for all the business requirement....
It has many modules.... FI / CO (Finance / Controlling) is related to CA's...
Only simens are allowed to conduct exams relating to SAP....
The course offered by the institute is not worth because, in faq it is given as a self e learning programme...
A person with SAP certificate and CA certificate can demand 3 lakhs p.m as per one of our clients...
FICO is basically related in how to configure sap for entry passing and its report generation...
Anything else, u need?
