If the person has the business income from the Maharashtra but he want to file his return in the Gujarat because he is natively Gujarati .Can he file in the Gujarat? or should he file the return in the State in which income is earned? Because it is also the que. of the place of accrual of income?

yeah he can file his return in his native, if native address mention in Form 16 or 16A otherwise he has to file in the place where he has earned the income.

Any person in business may maintain his books of account even if the business turnover does not exceed Rs. 40,00,000. It is mandatory to maintain books of account if TO is more than Rs.40 lacs. (u/s 44AA)
