How to get total hours for each jobe code from the attached file using Pivot Table

you can do one thing

first open a new sheet copy each code column data in single column, below one by one do same for hours in next column, then apply pivot and take hours in data critarea,

Thanks for your reply. But this is what i am doing right now and it is taking some time as the excel files are that much huge when we take it for a year.
