3. *Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA) Involvement*: RTAs are responsible for maintaining the records of shareholders and processing share transfers. However, they may have a large volume of requests to process, leading to delays.

 4. *Company Secretary's Office*: In some cases, the company secretary's office may need to be involved in resolving physical share-related issues. This can add to the delay.

 5. *Lack of Digitalization*: Unlike dematerialized (demat) shares, physical shares are not digitalized, making it harder to track and verify ownership. This can lead to delays in resolving issues. Tips for Faster Resolution:

 1. *Submit Complete Documents*: Ensure that all required documents are submitted in full to avoid delays.

2. *Follow Up Regularly*: Regular follow-ups with the RTA, company secretary's office, or other relevant authorities can help expedite the resolution process. 

3. *Dematerialize Shares*: Consider dematerializing your physical shares to make future transactions easier and faster. Keep in mind that the time taken to resolve physical share-related issues can vary depending on the specific circumstances and the authorities involved.
