PF/ESI Applicability applicable or not URGENT
Our client is a partnership firm doing trading business. They are having 15 staffs, salary ranging 12000 to 30000. Salary is paid in cash. Please let me know the applicability of PF and ESI for the firm

As per my personal opinion, first you have to pay salary through account payee cheque . if salary is given less than 21000 then esi is applicable. that is 6.5% in which 1.75% is employee contribution balance is emplyer contribution. For Partnership firm,i have doubt about ESI applicability.
