Can someone please tell me if it is mandatory to deduct & depsoit PF @ 12% of the salary (basic+D.A) even if the salary is higher than R s6500. For eg if someone's salary is Rs 100,000 would the employer have to dedcut & deposit 12000RS or he can also dedcut & depsoit Rs 780

its between employer and employee, contribution to PF below 6500 is mandatory but above 6500 is optional, if employer and employee both are agreed then they would contribute on above 6500/- otherwise 780/- is to be contributed as per rules.
