even u cant use pencil to headline something as pencil's use is restricted to drawing lines and diagrames only

it is advisable not to use bcoz changing of pens consumes lots of time

in exam u have no time to waste

bcoz u have to complete ur paper within 3 hours

so dont use diffrent colour pens

but u can use pencil at the end of exam time to underline if u have some time left

EVEN I HAVE THE HABIT OF PRESENTING MY ANSWERS IN A BETTER WAY AFTER HEADLINING THEM WID DIFFERENT INK BUT AFTER READING IT I DID NOT IN PCE

they didnt restrict those pens..they restricted for multi colour pens.... u can use only black pen

tanuja only royal blue ink pens are allowed

it will be specially written in ur admit card instructions

some of my frnds.. wrote with black pen in last nov 08.. they r semi qualified now..

but some of my friends who were extra brilliant have no reason to beleive why their marks are lower then expected

one of the reason could be they have used black ink for underlining

wese as per instructions it is not allowed ,rest i dnt knw ....

u cant use blue and black... both.. i think ur frnd used blue for writing and black for underlining... u can use any one

Oh! lot of discussion on pens... I used both black n blue ball point pens for my PE-II exams n passed. Upto my knowledge, pencils cann't be used. For more details, go through the instructions given by ICAI for examination purpose.

I write only with black :) and i cleared the exams :)
