As per the peer review guidelines no firm having five partners or more can do attestation services from 01
04.23 unless the firm is peer reviewed.
My query is attestation services includes Bank Audit?
Yes.
The attestation services which shall be subjected to peer review include auditing or verification of financial transactions, books, accounts or records and verification or certification of financial accounting and related statements as defined under section 2(2)(ii) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949.
