PE-II extension

Earlier itself they notified june 09 is the last attempt, after that have to convert to pcc or ipcc..They will not going to notify again....

May be Bala but in no chapters the process of conversion to PCC from PE-II have been started and when enquired i got this information. May or may not be i dont know.

I DONT UNDERSTAND Y THEY MAKING SO MANY CONFUSE STATEMENTS, Y THEY CHAGNING STATEMENTS LIKE THIS.THEY GIVEN JUNE 30TH IS THE LAST DATE TO CONVERSTION FOR PCC, DONT KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF SOME ONE WANTS TO GO WITH PCC.......ICAI HAS BECOME WORST EVER.......

DONT KNOW ABOUT ICAI FUTURE...................HOW HORRIBLE IT MAY GO......

This is ramani. I am a Pe-II student. If i fail in june attempt what will be the procedure to convert PCC. I completed Group - I exams

If any body Knows please pass the necessary Information tome.

 Pravin, why do u think that the compulsory-transition frm Pe2 to PCC, will start now, in all the chapters?

We will come to know abt it somewhere around the time whn the June2009 results are declared.

U may recall, that the May 2008 was supposed to be the Last PE2. Later the One-Year Extn was announced after the exams But before the Results. SO no need to worry so early.

U jst cant convert today, as u have given the June exam! Just be positive my friend.

Earlier ICAI announced that 30th june is the last date for PE-II students to switch over to PCC without waiting for the results. If within june 30 if a student not registered to PCC he will have no option other than opting IPCC..

i have ask at the regional centre that if the base is graduation  then u cannot convert to pcc and only ipcc is the option and after results new notification might be realsed regarding ipcc only if pe 1 is the base then u can convert to pcc

At present the regulation is

"Transition Scheme for Professional Education (Course-II) students who have joined the course on the basis of their degree examination

The last Profesional Education (Examination – II) will be held in May, 2009.

As per second proviso to Regulation 28C of Chartered Accountants (Amendment) Regulatons, 2006 a candidate who was exempted from passing Professional Education (Examination – I) under proviso to sub-regulation (1) of regulation 25B and is registered as a candidate for Professional Education (Course – II) shall be admitted, after discontinuance of the Professional Education (Examination – II), to the said examination, subject to his being otherwise eligible to appear in the Profesional Education (Examination – II).

Ineligible students of Professional Education (Course - II), who have not been issued Eligibility Certificate, may please note the following:

Such students are advised to submit and clear 3 answer papers from different subjects for issue of Eligibility Certificate to the concerned decentralized regional office. The cut-off date for submission of answer papers is 1st July, 2008 and 1st January, 2009 for appearing in Professional Education (Examination – II) to be held in November, 2008 and  May, 2009 respectively.
