One can just use Open Office (www.openoffice.org) just like MS Office. It gives a direct button to save file as PDF !
Above all its free and hassle free.

in windows vista, therez an option for converting Word & XL files into pdf that we create. Those with other OS may find it helpful vinod ji..thanQ
Hi friends
Am attaching PDF convertor file and download n follow below steps
1. add as a printer
2. while converting file go to printer option select pdf writer instead of printer
it will convert you word/excel file to PDF format
