Hello,
I had registered for PCC but haven't been able to clear my exams yet. I'm attempting this time with the hope of clearing Group 1. I wanted to ask what will be the procedure to register for IPCC tomorrow since PCC will be abolished after Nov 2012 attempt.
Also, if I clear Group 1 of PCC in Nov 2012, will I have to attempt the Account 2 Paper in Group 2 of IPCC?

According to me I think you have to give only IT/SM, Costing and Tax only.
For Procedure of Conversion of PCC to IPCC you can go to the ICAI Website.
