Can a practicing chartered accountant be a partner in a business?Can he/she be a sole proprietor?

Yes he can be.
Prior approval of Institute is required as per the provisions of CA Act to maintain code of ethics
Considering full disclosure, is there a limit in number of partnership/propietorship that he/she can hold?
That specifically not prescribe in the Act
