In IPCC Book, it has been mentioned that UNIX is a multi-user based OS whereas WiNDOWS and DOS are PC-based. In which reference this statement has been given?
Actually windows too have multi user server edition that means you can use windows server in LAN environment serving different client PC's as a file server, internet server, database server. For WEB server there are better staffs.Unix is more used in scientific lab servers. So all servers are muti user but all muti users must not be unix servers. Hope this is ok.
