Payment received in rupees against nepal export
Dear Expert,
We have received payment in rupees against Nepal Export. Will we submit BRC in excise department for final proof of export or can we submit bank statement in excise department for final proof of export ? Is it necessary to received payment in Cheque or RTGS. How can we prove that payment received by Party. Pl. Advice.

Submit brc that's good proof. Also if required you can submit copy of lr as evidence of export.
Till 1.3.2012, special procedure was prescribed for exports to Nepal. Now w.e.f.1.3.2012, export to nepal is like export to any other country (except bhutan). You can export the goods without payment of duty or under claim of rebate of duty. Even if payment is received in Indian Rupees or foreighn currency.
