Is it ok if we pay income tax after filing ITR?

and tax is paid through ITNS 280 for self assessment income tax for individual is correct?

yes u can income tax before submit the ITR for self assessment tax

Challan 280 is a form which you should fill and submit to pay advance tax, regular assessment tax, self-assessment tax, tax on distributed income and profits, additional charges etc. You can submit this online as well as offline via banks.
