One of our clients want to make a pre deposit of penalty levied under customs. However, he is not registered with the customs department.
What is the procedure?? and please post a link of the challan regarding this.

IF CUSTOMS DEPT LEVIED A PENALTY UNDER ANY DEMAND NOTICE, THEN YOU CAN OBTAIN MANUAL TR- 6 CHALLNS FROM NOMINATED BANK AT RESPECTIVE CUSTOMS PORT. MENTION THE DEMAND NOTICE NO , DATE, CASE DETAILS ON TR- 6 CHALLAN AND DEPOSIT THE DUTY.
Under which head in the TR6 challan is to be mentioned when paying for a penalty for customs duty when going on Appeal before the Tribunal? Please advise.
