Quick Summary
This discussion explores how to declare part-time income, such as bookkeeping for small shopkeepers, on your income tax return. While small amounts might be shown under 'Income from Other Sources' in ITR-2, it's generally considered professional income. For more accurate reporting, especially with regular earnings like £24,000 annually, ITR-3 is recommended as it better accommodates professional income. The advice suggests that if the part-time work isn't full-time, it can be declared as 'other sources' income, or potentially even under the 'Salary' head if it's a fixed monthly amount.

May be no issues...

But, Its not good way...
Sir, so please suggest good way
Well...

1. May be no issues...

If the income value** is small then You can show in ITR 2 as IFOS - PART TIME WORKS.

** I don't know exactly for which is the maximum value. Bcoz, it's not define anywhere. I think/decide its May be 50k.

2. But, Its not good way...
why?
Bcoz, Book Keeping known as Accounting. Accounts is a professional income. If You will show the income in ITR 2 as "Others - Book Keeping" then it's considered as professional income. So, I said it's not good way...

As per above explanation is suitable for you then go with ITR 2.

Otherwise ITR 2 is not advisable by me...
Not correct
Mm good...
You are now great...

(If not correct, then give correct one)
