Generall Not.

But if Paragraph No is for any specific Point then you have to mention it.

ultimately it is depend on mood of the cheker.

But questions in the practice manual are based on one or two specific Paragraphs of the standards, like on para 60/63 of AS 26.... There are so many standards and so many Paragraphs.... It's becoming very difficult to remember each and every one distinctly...

it's not mandatory to give Para nos unlike section nos that we give in law paper. but if course if given there wud be more weightaige for marks given

There are 10  standards in group 2 so roughly 500 Paragraphs to study in aggregate.... It is very taxing to remember each one ...

No. Absolutely not required! Just mentioning the AS No. and Name will be sufficient.

In our Practice Manual majority of the questions are answered with reference to the relevant para no. So that's why I was puzzled how to remember them.

Paragraph no. Is not required......just mention the correct AS name and no....in prac man.it is given for better understandng

First of all Please understand what an examiner wants from you from that particular standard or standards. He just want your true and correct understanding of the corresponding AS. Coming to quoting of paragraph number and corresponding AS number, trust me it really doesn't matter at all. Examiner just wants to see your conceptual clarity through your ans. But yes quoting of wrong AS number might or might not deduct marks of yours. keep studying and stay positive...u will clear all the hurdles.
