PAN QUERY

Dear friend,

It is not required to attach a photo proof with PAN application. I think this is because IT department considers only that the person applying for PAN is residing at the place mentioned in the application of PAN so as to facilitate IT Dept. select a ward or circle for filing Income Tax return and other proofs like Ration Card or Driving License or school leaving certificate helps IT department  to confirm this. Therefore, Photo identity is not required with the application of PAN. Whatever i have said  is not any law and my opinion just.

No it is not required to prove the photo is yours.......

Dear Balakrishnan,

While appliying you can simplly attached the bank passbook wherein photo has been attached & it has been approved by the bank.

It will work as address as well as identity proof.
