As per the MVAT dealers' manual: Read:
=If your PAN already exists against any active TIN with Maharashtra Sales Tax Department, the message displayed is “Profile PAN already exists."
=If verification with NSDL fails then following messages will be displayed is “PAN not registered with NSDL?”
It shows the data entered by you in the application doesn't match the PAN profile; i.e.
-name or date of birth should exactly match as per the pan card data.

Hello,
I see that you had an issue with mahavat website getting the error "PAN Not registered with NSDL" and then you said error with website. then you said application submitted successfully.
I am also facing the same problem while applying for PTRC registration. I am entering my firms correct PAN number. Could you please let me know what you did to submit the application?

i am getting error while doing PTEC registration of partners..."Active Profile already exist for PAN with another TIN"
If i am entering the TIN of firm , then also it is not allowing me for registration

It is due to technical problem of MAHAGST. refer below massege.
"Due to technical problems in Server Base Digital Signature, activity of real time online PAN based verification on Mahagst portal is stopped temporarily. Inconvenience is highly regretted”.
