one of the assessee having pan in the name of his name. he is started business name is xyz agencies. he will apply pan in his business name is must and should or not which section

For proprietorship business, no separate PAN issued. Individual pan number is sufficient.
Same PAN can used for "XYZ agencies"
Leagl name of the assessee would be as per PAN and he can use xyz agencies as his trade name.
