PAN Card.....Lost

getting a new pan card is simple, fill the form 49A with old PAN data, pay requisite fees , submit documents of id proof and address proof, affix photo , sign the form and a fresh new pan card will reach you within three weeks.

First of all your friend need to notify the police and get an FIR from his local police station.

submit 49A duly filled, photo affixed,and signed along with a) id proof, b) address proof c) requisite fees ( 94/- now) to any utisl/ nsdl centre, get acknowledgement, within 3 weeks at your address of residence provided.

                        I agree with all above who solve your question, but  when applying , you must have photocopy of pan card which you lost.After that you have to attach with correction form 49A and proceed to PAN centre.

                        If you don't have any photocopy then you should go to Income Tax Department for collecting PAN ISSUED LETTER , for that you have to write an application to ITO and they will issue Letter,Now simply you have to attach this letter with form no 49A.

I agreed with Mr. Ronak Darji...bt you can also get your PAN details on incometax website (www.incometaxindia.gov.in) at find Your PAN Status....

Dear Friend!

Do not worry about lost of PAN Card.  Just follow the following procedure:-

1.  Fill the Form Request For New PAN Card Or / And Changes Or Correction in PAN Data (form attached) alongwith pasting a passport size photo.

2. Attach proof of Identiy and Address.  3. Attach either copy of lost PAN Card (if you have otherwise) or copy of PAN details from the website (https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do) under Services - Find Your PAN by providing your name, date of birth and father's name).    Hope you will be relaxed now and ready to follow the stated procedure!

You have to fill Form 49a along with Photocopy of Pan card lost and deposit it to near NSDL office or UTI office. New PAN card will be issue to you within 15 days.

If you don't have photocopy of PAN Card lost you have to file FIR first.

Any can give me a latter for cancellation of pan card & its procedure.
