Dear Vikash, the firm registration certificate issued by ICAI is an internal regulatory mechanism of ICAI for approval of trade/firm names. It has no legal basis as far as PAN, TAN etc. Not only this, for all practical purposes, ICAI can issue directions only against individual partners and not against the firm. To provide legal sanctity to your partnership, kindly register your partnership deed and preferably also register with registrar of firms.
