Pan and aadhar linking

Dear Sir(s)

I am a senior citizen and also a tax payer as income from pension and bank fd interests exceed the tax limit. I would like to know the recent announcement of linking of the PAN with aadhar nos. although my PAN was already linked with aadhar since last one year, kindly clarify in case of a senior citizen with pension below tax limit and not filing ITR is also required to link PAN with Aadhar nos, if so what is the time limit to do so.
