I have been transferred to a new place & am filing IT returns at present city for past 2years. The range & circle of IT deptt is different from the previous one.
Is it necessary for me to get my PAN transferred to new address? Somebody told me to do so, otherwise I won't get my IT refunds. Kindly enlighten, If necessary to get refunds?
What is the exact procedure to transfer it? Whether the system works or its a cumbersom task?

Please contact nearest UTI Pan Service Centre and get a form for changing the address. Fill up the form and submit with necessary proof for the present address with the required fee to the Pan Servic Centre. You will get a new PAN card with new address.
