Overwhelment and anxiety

Final 511 views 3 replies
I am a final student currently pursuing my internship. Often while studying, I start worrying looking at the volume of the syllabus and feel down. My exam is a year away and I have done 60% of accounts, 60% of sfm and completed costing. Firstly, I want to know if my pace is fine and whether I am on track. Secondly, how do I deal with this sense of anxiety because it doesn't let me focus. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Hey nothing to worry. U r v much on right track...anxiety is pretty common.....u hv to CONSCIOUSLY control it...else it will be a problem....Take my example....I think more than anxiety im a bit worried....coz i think tooooooooooo much abt exams alll the time...even while driving !!!. I forget simple things...and also, i will be in a hurry to answer qns without reading it completely and i go wrong.....so u hv to work on it.....simple exercise and a bit of meditation will work..

Even i think abt exams all d tym...it's good to know there's someone out there like you... thanks for d help :)

Nothing to worry, you are on track!

You will have to help yourself with anxiety. Meditate and calm down. It is only an exam, no rocket science. CA does make you a knowledgeful professional, it also makes you hard and composed. Meditate and relax. Just enjoy whatever you are doing. Everything will fall in place. It is not unachievable, it is just about efforts.

Also bear in mind, if you worry and get anxious, you may spoil your own efforts. You would not want to do that. So calm down and enjoy this phase. It is an awesome time which you will cherish when you clear the exams.

Rahul
