Our papers to be checked by lawyers, mba, and IT professionals

This is really funny... Why these stupid things happens in our institute alone?? What do they mean by other professionals are also eligible to apply?? Does that mean a Doctor or scientist who is in academic position can also apply?? If these people are appointed; they are gonna rely heavily on the answer key ( i.e suggested answer) to correct the papers...So only people who replicate the exact same thing without missing is or was from the institute material is gonna clear the exam.... I wonder whether a chartered accountant will be appointed as paper valuater in an engineering or medical or law examination..???

Shortage of examiners is a problem since 2010

Teaching experience with examinership is an added advatage for answer book evaluation.

CA with teaching and paper valuation experienced persons are very short.

In the mean time they are not much interested these assignments.

Accordingly Institutes decided to entrust these work to college teachers who are experienced in the relevant field.

Last somany years the same thing is going on.

10 years back number of sudents appearing CA exam was below one lakh where as at present it is 5 lakhs.

No other alternative.

 

PJ by ICAI... Don't know what ICAI trying to do so...

These people will compare answer papers with suggested answers. Who can write exactly like suggested answers can pass.. what a wonderful idea by Institute.

 

ICAI alteast give some respect to students. who are working so hard.. give up everything...and checked by people who may be not knowing the concepts and checked with the help of suggested answers. 

I think the respective professionals would only check the respective expertise papers.

Read carefully these lines in the notification.."Those with work experience having direct relevance to the aforesaid subjects(s) of examination(s) will be preferred."

that does not mean that IT professional will check accounts paper...It means respective professionals in their areas of expertise will check it...

I think this is good in a way. Most examiners only have knowledge about Accounts, Tax and audit. The subjects in which method of answeing may differ like SFM, AMA or ISCA are checked by them only as per the answer key. So it is better for people having experience checking this paper

Also I did not see any clause rejecting applications from person whose close relatives (e.g.father son) are giving current exams.

We can only hope that institute takes abundant precaution but I do hope that they introduce concept of re-valuation because current system is simply not enough.

Also with so many people passing, sheen from this profession is surely loosing, one can go through 7-8 months coaching and pass in maximum 3 attempts. With self study concept becoming irrelevant due to the times we live in, coaching system was always attacking the gates, I hate people coming to me and telling me, "so many people have passed, why have you not", its hard to explain to people my motivation to self study and pass without the going through the "proper" method..I won the race once by being a fast swimmer, but don't want to keep doing it..

ICAI should collect more exam fees from students and pay more fees to examiners then many C.A.'s will apply for examiner position. ICAI should not invite application for examiner position from other professionals.Even many MBA finance people also dont no accounting entries. 

ICAI should maintain quality and should not play with student life. how IT professional know accounts?

Protest krne Se badhiya syllabus pe dhyan do IT professional are for subject like ITs And copy is checked by institute as per your concept don't blame institute
