ORIGINAL RETURN WENT FOR UNDER PROCESSING AFTER FILLING REVISED RETURN

Its routine this year.

Both the returns are getting processes. Revised return will get processed only after Original gets processed.

Refund of original return is paid, and the same gets adjusted while processing revised one.

If it issues refund and later for revised return it ask for demand notice , interest will be applicable once again.. isn't it.?

In such cases interest will be applicable only after 30 days of demand raised. (provided the demand not paid). The assessment resulting in the difference of tax payable will not calculate interest.
