If you want to learn oracle financials you should know the following:

1) Basics of Oracle Accounting

2) Account Receivables module - All Receipts or Customer Accounting are done through this module.

3) Accounts Payable module - All Payments or Suppliers accounting are done through this module

4) Cash Bank Module - To record actual receipts and payments in cash and bank and fund transfer entries

5) General Ledger module - All accounting entries are posted from the above modules to General Ledger to create a Trial Balance.

A course should cover all the above modules and should train you to punch the data in Oracle. Unless you punch the data in Oracle you will not be able to learn Oracle financials.

Apart from the above modules there are other modules for managing accounts as under

HR module

Fixed Assets module

Hi,

I want to suggest you that if you want to join a IT industry after  completion your CA then it is very helpful for u to do these type of trainings but AS per my Info Oracle is not very much use in India, Else you can look for Training provided by Institute on SAP.

And anyway if u join IT company they always give you an training in the required stream after join.

So decide as per your Future Goal..

ACON,Infosys

You can join SQL Star + for learning Oracle ERP

I heared that SQL Star will give training only on DBA and not Oracle Financial certification.
