i have apply for online newe registration but wrongly entered group as SERVICE TAX MUMBAI - I GROUP 1 instead of SERVICE TAX MUMBAI - II and GROUP 3
so what will now i have to do as site not allow me to amend uploaded form

No need worry Arun, just take the copy of the form an visit your range officer. While entering data in their system, the themself will change the 'group'

No, you don't need to write any letter to dept. Just go to SERVICE TAX MUMBAI - I GROUP 1 and request to range officer to amend juridiction and after that submit form to SERVICE TAX MUMBAI - II GROUP 3.
you have to go to your range officer with an application for amendment
