Hi All,

I will be writing my CA final in May 2010 and wanted to know if anyone has filled up the Examination Form online. If yes, could you confirm whether this is better alternative than having the physical form sent and also whether any member of the institute can sign on the form or does it necessarily have to be my principal?

For CA Final only Hard Copy forms are accepted. Even if u've filled the form online..better go for a hard copy.

Moreover along with the form it needs to be certified that u have completed 2 yrsof the articleship training. which will be done by your principal. SO your form will be signed by your Principal only. Nobody else can sign it.....

thanks aditya. I just had another question. i complete 2 years of articleship only in april, so i dont think i will have to submit my 2 year completion form right now, is my understanding correct? in this case, can another practicing chartered accountant sign the exam form? My problem is that im not in the country, so to get my principal to sign will be quite a task.

Also, can someone please suggest the best book i can use to study accounts for the final new course from?
