Online backup

Can anyone recommend an online backup solution for tally? It should automatically backup all the changes in real time to a remote internet based storage. I keep forgeting to backup tally data on USB drive. Even though the data is backed up regularly on harddisk, it get corrupt and costs a lot of money to recover.

There is no chance to take online backup. I recommend you to take backup the Tally data in CD/DVD (every fortnight / Month).

BUY external hard drive..

How 'bout Dropbox?

Put your directories of tally in Dropbox and it will be backing up in realtime

There are limitations like 2GB space but that can be increased upto 10GB w/ refrals and for higher you need to paid

Your disk needs to be checked . After backing up the data try chkdsk in command prompt by going to start >run> cmd or press windows key + R and type cmd . Paste us the log here

Search TCS online Backup in google, they provide online backup of your full computer. Backup can be daily, hourly etc.

Thanks everyone! Dropbox seems like an interesting option.

I advise you to don't take back up your tally data into online. Then your data will become like a public Document... Because did you know the current trend of this world... There is Many hackers are ready to hack the Personal Data's and using that to various illegal activity.

So please don't do that.

Be safe!!

Dropbox is a great way to make sure your data is synced with the cloud and if you add security(Tally Vault) which is virtually unbreakable, your data is always safe and with you at all time!

There is also "auto backup" facility which you do at a different folder/drive.
