Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to rectify the omission of sales totalling £1,85,000 in GST returns for FY 2019-2020. The advice provided outlines steps based on whether the omission occurred in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, or both. Solutions involve disclosing the missed sales in the current financial year's returns (2020-2021) and paying applicable interest, with specific guidance on customer input tax credit (ITC) reversal.
Have you missed in gstr 1 or gstr 3b case 1 ---if you missed in gstr 1 than now show in gstr1 this current fy i.e 2020-21 and itc taken by your customer, ... he will have to reverse itc with interest, if it is more than 110% of his gstr 2A of related tax period
case -2 if you missed in gstr 3b , than you can show in current fy i.e 2020-21 gstr 3b as outward supply and also pay interest for the gap months
case 3 if totaly forgot to show in both returns than complete the steps of case 1 and case 2 simultaneously
